MANDALA AND MEDITATION 10-2.30pm £50 POSTPONED

A time to come together to create. 

A half hour lunch can be purchased in the cafe or you may bring your own. 

Starting with a guided meditation and check in before moving on.

What is a Mandala?

In essence, mandalas represent the connection between our inner worlds and outer reality. Designing your own mandalas can be both inspirational and therapeutic.

A mandala is a design that is usually circular in form. In fact, “mandala” is a Sanskrit word that means “circle”. Mandalas generally have one identifiable centre point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms.

Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms. They can also contain recognisable images that carry meaning for the person who is creating it. Therefore encouragement for making the marks and shapes that are personally meaningful. 

Some time is spent thinking about what kind of shapes and marks are important to you in the moment giving  some time for practicing and discussing before creating a final piece. 

All materials provided. The choice to create on a canvas or card. Always welcome  to bring your own embellishments.

Following a short grounding exercise we bring attention and awareness to guided playful drawing exercises, to inspire free drawing time.
